The story
A home that has
seen a century
Built in the early 1900s during the Portuguese era, Valentine Villa has stood through monsoons, independence, and the slow transformation of Goa from a colony to a destination. Its thick laterite walls keep it cool in summer. Its high ceilings carry the echoes of a hundred years of life.
Raj and Andrea found it in a state of gentle ruin and spent years restoring it — not to make it look new, but to make it feel alive again. The original tiles are still there. The old mango tree still shades the garden. The pool is new, but the soul is old.
